I'm updating this because I've aged and my frontal lobe developed and tbh just don't follow me if you're a bigot or engage with anything that aligns itself with bigotry. I don't think I should have to spell out what this means. I don't really care what you do with fictional things, if I don't like it I'll just moderate my space online. At the end of the day, the worst I can think is "oh thats weird lol okay" because like... its not real life. If I don't dig it, I don't dig it and I can just remove it from my view. I fail to see a point in making all this noise about things that don't really harm people (in the sense that it's properly tagged so moderation systems can pick it up and make sure its out of view of those who do not want to see it. If you're posting stuff that needs warnings without warnings, and stuff you know should be tagged without tags, you're a piece of shit and I hate you. You're the problem in the room, not the stuff itself existing. Rule of thumb: if you think some chronically online weirdo is gonna look at your stuff and assume thought crimes, it should probably be tagged. Tag your shit. Go in peace. )
Now if someone is engaging in REAL LIFE problem shit... thats a whole other story. I feel like we're in such a "what about"ism era right now that I have to add a thousand caveats and disclaimers when in reality... Just don't go out of your way to cause people harm. Its as simple as that. Go be a freak in your corner, just make sure you got a sign to tell people its the freak corner. I got real life shit to worry about without random online crap coming around to attempt to bite me in the ass when I just don't care. There's some basic house cleaning stuff, like if you know that your shit is triggering, slap a big ol warning on that sucker. I'm not stating this enough: TAG. YOUR. SHIT.
